About Me

After receiving my PhD at the University of Wisconsin- Madison on Algebraic Number Theory, I took a postdoctoral position at the University of Arizona. In Arizona I spent 3 years in the math department with a joint appointment: half in the math department as a teaching postdoc and the other half as a fellow in the Center for Mathematics Education for Latinos/as. After this, I accepted another postdoctoral appointment at the University of Arizona. This postdoc is my current position in the Department of Educational Psychology. I am currently working on two grants that both work on developing metrics. One project works on measuring instructional quality, and the other measuring the portion of pedagogical and content knowledge that teachers use in the classroom.
