Homework:
- Check WebAssign for Due Dates
- Homework 2 is now available. It is due Monday 10/6/14.
Quizzes:
- Revised quiz resubmission policy: you may re-submit your quizzes twice with no penalty. Beyond that, you must make an appointment to come see me in office hours to discuss quiz problems.
- Quiz 2: will be this Thursday, 10/2/14. It will cover sections 2.5, 2.6, 3.1 and 3.2. The questions will be based on the written homework questions from those sections, so you should probably do those questions to study!
-
Exam 1:
will be next Monday, 10/6/14. It will cover 2.1-3.3. I will hold an extra 2 office hours this Friday, 10/3 - hours TBA (fill out the Doodle poll here)
9/30/14
In Class:
Section 3.1
Homework:
- Check WebAssign for Due Dates
- Homework 2 is now available. It is due Monday 10/6/14.
Quizzes:
- Quiz 1: if you would like to improve your score, please download a blank quiz from the materials section, re-do any questions you would like to improve upon, and re-submit with your original quiz. You only need to re-do questions you want a better score on!
You may repeat this process as many times as you like, but you will lose 2 points for each re-submission i.e. your second try you can achieve up to 18/20, third try 16/20, etc. (See above) The goal if this is to get you to study, not cheat! If you copy someone else's, you won't learn anything and you'll do poorly on the exams (plus, it's 'against the rules'!).
- Quiz 2: will be this Thursday, 10/2/14. It will cover sections 2.5, 2.6, 3.1 and 3.2. The questions will be based on the written homework questions from those sections, so you should probably do those questions to study!
