Sonia Kovalevsky Day

Sonia Kovalevsky Day is a workshop day held all over the world to celebrate women in mathematics.   The Day is named  for one of the first female mathematicians.  At the University of Arizona, we invite students and teachers from local high schools to meet real women in mathematics at all stages of their careers, participate in workshops, and have some fun with math!

This year's workshop will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013, on the UA campus. Below are some informational flyers and a sign-up sheet - come be a part of the fun! For more information, visit the SK Day site or contact Haley Miles-Leighton, who is organizing the event this year, at milesleighton (at) math (dot) arizona (dot) edu.
