Non-Math Activities

I like to fill my spare time with things other than math when I can. One way I do this is hiking and backpacking. Here's a picture from a trip to Zion National Park.

I also have been involved in freerunning and parkour. Here I am doing a flip on the WSU campus.

When I lived in Montana and Washington, I was a fairly avid snowboarder. I may need to find a new hobby now that I'm in Arizona!

Finally, I spend some of my free time playing guitar and ukulele, or reading my kindle.

Family

I have a phenominal family, who are largely responsible for who I am today. My mother is a social worker for Missoula County. My father works as an accountant for the Department of Forestry at the University of Montana. Finally, my younger brother is currently attending the Univeristy of Montana, and works as a fitness trainer and coach at a parkour gym called unparalleled movement.

Dogs

I have a Great Dane named Remy, who spends a great deal of time sleeping.
