Research Interests

In general, I am interested in applying math to almost any form of biological system.  My mathematical interests lie in probability, stochastic processes, biological modelling, and to a lesser degree, numerical analysis.

Currently, I am working on blood flow in the microcirculation.  I have been working with Dr. Timothy Secomb in the physiology department.  We work on modelling and computation of the red blood cell which plays a major role in the microcirculation.

Previously, I have worked on projects involving calcium signalling and other excitable systems.
