At the conclusion of the grant, the PRIME Extension Consortium was instituted to extend some of the opportunities offered by the grant in a self-supporting endeavor. The Consortium allows elementary and middle schools to utilize the services of a support teacher by sharing the cost of funding the program. Member schools are provided fifty hours of support teacher services at their school which may be used for workshops, classroom visits, planning sessions for teachers, and/or content instruction for teachers in mathematics.
