I'm a third year Ph.D. candidate in the Applied Mathematics Program at the University of Arizona. I'm currently studying the relationship between food web structure and species persistance in a population model that leverages the allometric scaling of nearly biological quantities for metabolism. My dissertation work will include detailed numerical analyses of the Allometric Trophic Network model coupled with the Niche Model for food webs. I will also study ways to incorporate parasitic taxa into the dynamic equations.
I received my B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University in 2012.
