Suppose that (G,Z(G)) is a Camina pair. We prove that G is a p-group for some prime p, and that |Z(G)| <= |G:Z(G)|^{3/4}. We will also discuss how one might build examples of such groups where |Z(G)| > |G:Z(G)|^{1/2}.
