1 About Me
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Arizona for the 2016-2017 academic year. My CV is available here. In May 2016, I completed a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Arizona, advised by Sunder Sethuraman. My undergraduate work was at the University of Texas at Austin.
2 Research
My research is at the intersection of probability theory and variational analysis. More specifically, I am interested in discrete-to-continuum limits on regular and random structures, and associated optimization problems, which arise in various applied settings – primarily signal processing, data analysis, and machine learning.
With Sunder Sethuraman, I have studied the behavior of the modularity clustering method on random geometric graphs. In particular, we have established a geometric form of consistency in this setting.
3 Teaching
In Spring 2017, I am teaching linear algebra.
